Leonard Cohen talks about his own struggles with depression.
(And deserves some special kind of award for being so graceful and charming in the face of a rather dreadfully obnoxious interviewer)

I’m always comforted when artists talk about their depression and immobility. For a long time, I would beat myself up for not producing any work, when artists with depression seemed to be so prolific. In my twisted logic, I took this to mean that I don’t have depression and that I should stop doing any art-related activities.
